Carolyn Kurtz is the first and only female Harbor Pilot in Tampa Bay. She is an amazing woman and has received international recognition for her achievements. She works an immensely important job, guiding huge ships under the Sunshine Parkway Bridge, up Tampa Bay, past Davis Islands, and through Seddon Channel. She has moved ships more than 4,000 times working as a pilot for over 25 years. This event will be hosted at the Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC.
