Biblical Literature is a course which provides the student the opportunity to see the Bible as a great piece of remarkable writing with every aspect of literary greatness imaginable. It is not a lecture course but a discussion course with open participation. It is also not a course in religion and is appropriate for people of all faiths, or none. 

We meet twice a month at the Cohn JCC on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3 PM. Each member is encouraged to bring his/her own Bible so we can compare different translations. Occasionally, we may show a movie. Not "The Ten Commandments" - much too long!
