Club J is a licensed after school enrichment program of the Tampa Jewish Community Centers & Federation. The program is offered at the Cohn Jewish Community Campus. Our program provides children from kindergarten through 5th grades an opportunity to have fun, learn new skills and to grow and develop in positive ways.
Club J provides a safe and nurturing environment where professional and experienced staff respect and value the diversity of each child. We offer excellent staff to children ratios, with every staff member having had a complete background check.
Upon arrival, your child will receive a healthy snack. Our staff will escort your child to and from the classes they are registered in during program hours. In addition, your children will spend time in our supervised homework room with qualified staff providing assistance when needed.

Pay your Bill Online

The Club J program is licensed by the Hillsborough County Child Care Licensing Office. This ensures that we meet minimum health and safety requirements established by Hillsborough County and the State of Florida. Our license number is #SHC110461.
If the county schools are closed because of weather conditions, Club J will also be closed. TV and radio will inform the public.
Fire & Tornado Drills
Fire drills are conducted once a month and tornado drills four times each year.
For those families that may need scholarship or fee adjustments, limited financial assistance may be available. Scholarships are available for Tampa JCC Preschool, Club J Enrichment Program, and Camp JCC. For more information about 2016-2017 Scholarships please contact Pam Cotner at email@example.com.
Transportation for your child is currently provided from the following elementary schools:
(minimum registration of four children per school, per location is required)
Citrus Park, Essrig, Mary Bryant, McKitrick, Hammond, Deer Park, Westchase, Carrollwood
Parent drop-off is welcome.
Please email us in the morning if your child will not be attending the program that afternoon.
If for any reason, a decision is made to withdraw a child from the Club J Program, notification must be made in writing to Pam Cotner. Such notification must be received at least 30 days in advance of the effective withdrawal date. During the thirty day notice period, tuition and membership fees are due and payable to the JCC.
Parents, please notify the school and the Club J program if you plan to be out of town, if either parent is hospitalized, or if there is any other emergency or changed situation. This information should include who will be responsible for the child, who we should contact in an emergency, carpool changes, etc. This information also enables us to effectively help your child since home disruptions may affect him/her at the program.
Should you have any questions or concerns, we are always available to meet with you. Parents will be provided important information via letters/flyers, email and phone.
Pick Up Changes and Policies
If there is ever any change in your child’s pick up procedure, please send an email with the person’s name and dates this change will be in effect. Also, be sure your child is informed of this change. Please reserve any last minute changes to bona fide emergencies. You can help your child by helping us keep dismissal time free of confusion. No child will ever be allowed to leave the JCC with anyone but the parents or designated carpool person, or person listed on your emergency medical registration form without written permission. We will check ID when necessary. This policy is for your child’s safety and your family’s protection.
If at any time you need to get your child before 5:00 pm you will need to pick them up from their designated enrichment class.
We appreciate the fact that there can be times that might occur that you may be late picking up your child. Please call the desk to let us know if this situation arises. There will be a $1.00 per minute late fee charged to your account for pick up after 6:00 pm. Late charges will appear on you JCC account and must be paid in full with you monthly charges.
