It's a new day at Camp J! Camp J offers a multitude of incredible specialty camps as well as a phenomenal signature camp that will help your children develop a range of skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our goal is for every child to have a meaningful experience at Camp J by having them do it their way. You can mix and match your camper’s summer experiences between specialty and signature camps throughout the summer! Our supportive and well trained staff will strive to ensure that your child feels at home regardless of camp or location. Camp JCC encourages diversity and welcomes campers of all backgrounds regardless or race, faith or national origin.
Camp J accommodates campers entering kindergarten through eighth grade, choices are grade specific.
Your child will also benefit from well-trained, qualified staff who are dedicated to the nurturing and personal growth of each camper in their care. All staff members participate in extensive and thorough training to prepare them for their specific role at camp.
Our camp philosophy is deeply rooted in the Jewish values that have guided and enriched our community for generations. It is our mission to promote self-esteem, positive values, personal growth, and a strong Jewish identity in addition to fostering spiritual and personal growth through learning new skills, interacting with others, and planting the seeds to establish lifelong friendships and memories.
Scholarships will be available for JCC Preschool, Club J Enrichment Program, and Camp JCC. Call Pam Cotner at 813.769.4748 for more information.
Nestled in a natural and rustic setting, Camp JCC provides a day camping experience like no other day camp in the area. Camp JCC offers (3) three-week sessions and or a full summer option. Our goal is to promote a sense of community and belonging for all of our campers. Throughout the summer, your camper will enjoy programming run by our specialists, field trips, under/overnights and spirit days.

Rishon is designed just for children entering Kindergarten. It offers children a chance to be a part of an authentic, “big kid” camp experience within the safety of a nurturing unit all their own. Campers will have instructional swim daily as well as experience their first undernight and camp field trip.
Transportation to and from the Campus is currently available from the Irving Cohen Center at Congregation Rodeph Sholom. There is limited space available. Seats will be filled as registrations come in. If you would like siblings to ride together, please indicate that on the registration form.
During Extended Camper Care, we’re offering our “Chugim” Program. Each day, the children will choose between two designated enrichment classes, such as science, origami, pottery, sports and more. This special program is included within our Extended Camper Care fee.
