When people meet each other for the first time, it’s natural to try to connect through mutual acquaintances. Jewish people often find connections to generations of immigrants from all over the world. This evening, journey with us to South Africa and hear first-hand about Jewish life, culture and traditions there. The Jewish community in South Africa has a rich and varied history, tracing its origins back to the early settlers and developing into a vibrant and integral part of the nation's cultural tapestry. Learn about family treasures and legends. Enjoy a dinner featuring recipes passed down “l’dor v’dor” from generation to generation.

Cost: $15/member and $25/guest includes dinner.

Advance reservations required. To register, please visit JCCCohnCampus.com/ActiveAdults or call Pnina Levermore at 813.291.2253.
