BBYO – B’nai Brith Youth Organization

BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. For 90 years, BBYO has provided exceptional identity enrichment and leadership development experiences for  hundreds  of  thousands of Jewish teens. BBYO strongly values Jewish identity, active   leadership,   inclusion   and   tradition.   BGFJCC is home to the Tampa chapter of BBYO in the North Florida Region. Tampa teens gather to create programs, engage in Judaic activities and socialize with other Jewish teens across the Tampa Bay.

Tampa KickOff

Catch up with old friends, meet some new ones at the BBYO Tampa KickOff at PinChasers.  All 8th – 12th grade teens welcome!!  Bowl a few games and get ready for the program year.

 

 

West Coast Regional KickOff

September 3 | KickOff held at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC

 

It's going to be BIG! It's going to be EPIC! It's EAST vs. WEST in the 2017 NFR Kick OFF: Battle of the Coasts! Color War, Apache Relay, Dancing, Swimming, FUN! Kickoff is open to 8th-12th graders.

 

 

Regional JEI

October 20-22 | Convention will be held at Lake Placid

 

JEI is our Jewish Enrichment Institute. This convention will focus on 3 different tracks of Jewish learning that teens can choose which track they are most interested in.

 

 

MIT/AIT/(R)LTI

January 26-28 | Convention will be held at Lake Placid

 

This is our training convention. MIT (members in training) AIT (alephs in training). They will learn more about what BBYO is all about, cheers, songs, regional inductions. LTI (leaders in training) there is a separate track focused on leadership for all members that are not in training and have already been inducted/through MIT/AIT training.
